Magnetic separators
APODIS magnetic separators are used for continual, fully automatic cleaning of ferromagnetic materials fluid medium. All magnetic separators consist of stainless steel housing with an electronically controlled magnetic roller which is coated with a thin-walled stainless steel sleeve.
They can be optionally equipped with neodymium high-performance magnets and a squeeze roller for dry and compact sludge discharge. Thanks to a modular design, our magnetic separators can be used individually in the space available.

Operating Principle
The magnetic drum rotates against the flow of the waste liquid and separates out the ferromagnetic particles. A sludge cake forms on the magnetic rollers which collects everything except for the ferromagnetic contamination and grinding swarf or bonding agent. A contact less scraper removes the sludge. An optional retaining roller separates the fluid from the contamination. A flow rate of about 63 - 1500 litres per minute is possible.
