Filter fleeces

APODIS filter fleeces (filter fleece material) are used to separate solid particles from fluids, especially in metal cutting operations e.g. grinding, milling, turning, drilling and honing.
The great significance of the emulsion for lubricating and cooling in cutting operations demands an optimum filtration. Individual requirements for flow rate, particle size, viscosity and required cleanliness lead to the choice of the correct fleece.
Our fleece range has 400 various materials. We can therefore choose the optimum fleece for each of your applications.
Filter fleece is ideal for cleaning water based coolants, thin oils, cleaners, chemical solutions, hard water and much more.
The advantages of an optimal filtration
- Avoidance of deposits in the cooling lubricant circuit
- Increasing the cooling lubricant life up to a 3-times
- Reduction of microbial growth
- Reduction of down times because consuming maintenance are reduced
- Increased process reliability
- significantly lower reject rates

4D Filter fleeces
Our 4D filter fleeces range comprises two kinds of fleece with many different degrees of finess. The great advantage of the now 2nd generation of high performance filter fleeces is in the special fiber structure. Due to the high proportion of microfiber these fleeces can be used in small filter surfaces and high flow rates. They are suitable for fine filtration of problematic materials such as cast iron, aluminum, copper, carbide, glass, ceramics etc. and are also universally applicable to all types of filter systems. Here you will learn the crucial differences between surface and deep filtration.

Fibers | Microfibers |
---|---|
Fiber composition | 90% Polyester 10% BiCo |
Solidification | needled / thermally consolidated |
Fiber structure | multilayered / cross layered |
Binder | no binder |
Filtration type | Deep filtration |

3D Filter fleeces
Our 3D filter fleeces range comprises two kinds of fleece with many different degrees of finess. The 1st generation of high performance filter fleece has established itself for years for the fine filtration of oil and cooling lubricants on the market. They are now used not only in finishing problematic materials such as cast iron, tungsten carbide or aluminum. Due to the increasing production demands this filter fleece have found their place even in rough machining such as turning and milling. Here you will learn the crucial differences between surface and deep filtration.

Fiber composition | 100% Polyester |

2D Filter fleeces
Our 2D filter fleeces range comprises three kinds of fleece with many different degrees of finess. These nonwovens are suitable for coarse to medium-fine filtration. They complement our high performance filter fleece and offer an economical filtration of unproblematic materials and are mainly used for rough machining such as turning and milling. Here you will learn the crucial differences between surface and deep filtration.
